Spoilers - Curious incident of a Dog in the night time

Below I present a few excerpts from the book, which is a must read -

Prime numbers are what is left when you have taken all the patterns away. I think prime numbers are like life. They are very logical but you could never work out the rules, even if you spent all your time thinking about it.

I do not tell lies. Mother used to say that this was because I was a good person. But it is not because I am a good person. It is because I can't tell lies.

Mr.Jeavons said that I was a very clever boy. I said that I wasn't clever. I was just noticing how things were, and that wasn't clever. That was just being observant.Being clever was when you looked at how things were and used the evidence to work out something new.

I am going to find out who killed Wellington even though Father had told me to stay out of other people's business. This is because I do not always do what I am told. And this is because when people tell you what to do it is usually confusing and does not make sense. For ex.. people often say "be quiet", but they don't tell you how long to be quiet for. Or you see a sign which says KEEP OFF THE GRASS but it should say KEEP OFF THE GRASS AROUND THE SIGN or KEEP OFF THE GRASS IN THIS PARK.

RED HERRING - is a clue which makes you come to a wrong conclusion or something which looks like a clue but isn't.

What actually happens when you die is that your brain stops working and your body rots, like Rabbit did when he died and we buried him in the earth at the bottom of the garden. And all his molecules were broken down into other molecules and they went into the earth and were eaten by worms and went into the plants and if we go and dig in the same place in 10 yrs there will be nothing except his skeleton left. And in 1000 yrs even his skeleton will be gone. But that is alright because he is a part of the flowers and the apple tree and the hawthorn bush now.

Integrating mathematical science and spirituality

I happened to attend to a series of discourses from renowned researchers and some amazing speakers and leaders in their fields and in leaders in their experiences of pure consciousness/Brahman. The talks were a part of Workshop organised by Dr. Sunita Singh Sengupta, a marvellous seeker and human being, who is a part of Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi. The inaugration was done by Sheila Dikshit and she does have substance, a soothing voice and a magnanimous presence.
There were talks of Zero, Shunyata, Infinity, Supreme consciousness, Global Consciousness project, ranging to Vedic mathematics, states of bliss, and pouring of knowledge. I was personally impressed and in awe when people like Shree Shraddhalu Ranade, Mr. Gaurav Tekriwal, Dr. Dinesh Singh, Dr. Vivek Suneja, Dr. Venimadhavan, and Dr. K K Agrawal talked.
I would try to pen down a few points discussed that left me in awe and inspired me a lot! Its difficult for me to represent the magnanimity of what I listened to, but I will give it a shot to verbalise it.
____
Mathematicians would agree that there is no such thing as an exact number, say 1, 2, or 3. Its always infinity approaching to that number, but the number itself, purely cannot be grabbed. Which can be related to what Shri Krishna tells Arjun in Bhagwat Gita - "I am neither This, nor That. Neither Truth, nor Falsity."
____
Ramanujan said - " An equation in itself has no meaning to me, unless it expresses a thought of God". Its known that he was an avid spiritualist, had firm belief in God and the creations of him, as he describes himself -Emerged/poured themselves from God to his conscious self.
____
THAT from which everything manifest emerges, is WHOLE.. THIS(that we see, or we are) is WHOLE. THIS emerged from THAT, even then, THE WHOLE remains a WHOLE - Esha Upanishad (Dhyana padam). Can be related to a series of numbers going to infinity. If we take out all the odd numbers and make them stand in a separate series, even then - the original series remains INFINITE, as does this extracted series. and THIS infinite is no more no less than the original.. or at least there is no way of determining that.
____
What can you say about the location of, say, tip of a mountain? Is it west, east, northeast.. As you can see, it depends upon how you approach it? The tip of the mountain is that SINGULARITY that represents all sides of a mountain!
A causeless indivisible ONE, out of which everything emerges.. (to know it, one has to jump out of the system)
The unmoving one - always ahead of time, even though the Gods chase after it, it goes ahead..While everything else is rushing, THAT exceeds all, without running.
____
The moment there is one, there is two.. and so on.. In the manifest time space, one can never get singular One. All the otherness is inside itself. All the Universe emerged into within itself. Inside the ONE, the ONE manifests. How is it possible? Well.. When we try to feel it, the mind goes blank.
I am identical with whatever I see. Each part of multiplicity is the WHOLE, the ONE.
Everything is an expression of that ONE -indivisible. Every single object is - wholeness represented. If you want to know that ONE whole, do not see things as separate. In seeing the totality, you will find a complete interdependence. No single event can happen if the other events in the Universe doesnt shape to make it happen. Like the whole ocean moves to manifest a wave.
_____

Where ever THE WHOLE expresses itself, it might appear to be finite owing to our limited vision, but it is in effect infinite. Say for example, consider a A4 sheet of paper. It appears to us as if the length is more than the breadth. we can mathematically prove it to be wrong- Consider a point on the length and diagonally connect it to a corresponding point of breadth. For all the points on the length, one can find a corresponding point on the width. Hence proving that the infinite present in the length is no less, no more than the infinite present in the width! Appearances do deceive. :) This can be related to MAYA/Illusion of finite-ness. It is just because of our ability to Measure out from the unmeasurable.
____
We are all an expression of THAT. Within me is the same 0/0 potential of the origin as much in others. The Big Bang power is in all of us. Evolution then, is nothing but that potential decompressing. We are meant to awaken to become co-creators of manifestations. HE grows as we grow. HE grows through us.
_____
Regarding the evil. if all is THAT ONE.
Everyone has RAMA, SITA, HANUMANA within her/him self. Say if I am an actor, when I am acting out the character of RAMA, I am pushing behind hanuman, and sita or ravana in me. When I am acting out Ravana, the others take a back seat. Explaining that everyone of us has the potential to act out good or evil. The concept of Karma jumps in here. Brahman is its own subject and the object.
As an example again- when a father plays arm wrestling with his little kid. Though he can win the game as he has the potential, he let himself lose pretending to the kid that he actually cannot win. He chooses to be good, where he can be evil too!
_____
When I as a limitation meet you as a limitation, Conflicts arise!!!!
_____
Atheists exist because of God.
_____
All physics equations involve a singularity.
I can see the stars today, because there is something common between them and me. THAT INFINITE ABSOLUTE
____
In the game of hide and seek. There is no fun hiding if you are not found/sought after at all. You hide so that you may be discovered.Awakening process is a delight.--Finding of himself by himself, from himself.

Concept of Sickness- An excerpt from "The art of listening" by Erich Fromm

Most people today have lost their subjective faculty. They can only see things as one says realistically, in the first sense, that is to say they know the world very well as it can be manipulated. But they are not capable of seeing something whether that's something in nature or person, fully subjectively, without any other purpose except the experience of this sight, this sound, this picture.
The concept of sickness is essentially social. If somebody is an idiot, is an emotional idiot, an artistic idiot, he doesnt understand a thing, he is not capable of seeing anything except the practical value of cents, then we call him today a very clever man. And these are the men who are most successful, because they are never distracted as Charlie Chaplin is in the film by the pretty girl who comes while he is working on the machines, and so he loses his grip on the machine, on the endless belt. If you feel nothing, if you have no subjective experience, then you are best fit for society in which everything that matters is to perform, to perform practically. But you are for that reason not any healthier.
The question is open who is more sick, the so-called psychotic person or the so-called realistic person.

A story of her

Well how could one describe her. She was vibrant, full of life, could make friends with any stranger she would meet, would connect to any person she met as if she had known them since ages. She would laugh and enjoy life as it came. She had no big ambitions as she had awakened once and there was no turning back. Everything in the Universe felt connected and everything seemed a fact, yet she could not erase the illusion that life of humans today was, from her memory.
In her childhood years, She was a nerd along with some interests in Arts almost all through her teenage and; was almost the most favorite child of her parents until just recently. She managed to finish her studies abroad and united with India, her native place, whose colors, life, earthiness always called her while the time she was out.
She was convinced that most of her family, friends, and relatives considered her a fool as she decided to leave a lucrative career in research which could have brought her good bucks and a luxurious life abroad. But the fire of the passion inside her heart was such that she went ahead and felt free to explore whatever she wanted to.
There was a remarkable paradox - She connected virtually with every living being around almost effortlessly, yet when it came to follow her instincts, and dreams, she did not fail to be oblivious of the social/peer pressure so overwhelmingly present all around. Even after several warnings from her friends and family she could not help but trust anybody on earth. She just could not do that.

She appeared to be a very confident, charming and friendly personality, but at the core of it there was something which hardly anyone knew. She had no goals except to take care of people and animals around; and it was very difficult for her to have long term memories that are needed in any areas of research or to have long term goals. Her interests were in line with this particular characteristic - she would love to take photos from very different angles, as she was very much present in all those moments she captured, BUT, she could not easily make up stories on those photos, as that required long term memory application.
She often consciously was present to this thing happening to her, and was the only one who knew the origins of it, to which we shall dig in later.
Well, for now she was no more a favorite child of her parents. Reason being her failure to FOLLOW ONE PARTICULAR PATH IN LIFE. She was helpless and no words could describe what she had experienced during awakening, but she only knew it to be true. She spoke less and less, as things she said did not make sense in the world where she deliberately chose to come and live in. At times she did regret her coming back, but at the same time, knew that she was needed here..
